The Road to Barga — A Scottish-Italian Journey I did this design to capture the unique, historical connection between Scotland and Italy. The illustration features a proud ginger Highland Cow riding a vintage red Vespa, wearing a custom driving helmet and a long, wind-swept scarf in the official Scottish-Italian Tartan. Named after Barga—the famous medieval town in Tuscany where so many Scottish families have roots and live today—this drawing belongs to a set of illustrations where our beloved Heilan Coo goes on holiday to places with deep Scottish connections.
