Description
Behind My Design: Pheasants As an artist, my goal is to document the rich variety of Scotland's native animals through my personal style. Pheasants are an incredibly famous and distinctive sight across the heather fields and woodlands of the country. I drew this piece because I wanted to fulfill my Scottish wildlife collection so people can also see the pheasant in tartan. By accessorizing this pair in the globally recognized Royal Stewart Tartan, I wanted to showcase a quiet, natural moment of connection while highlighting the intricate textures of their beautiful plumage.
